Gift Aid

If you are a UK tax payer, the Inland Revenue will add 25p to every £1 you give to Ichthus as an individual by Gift Aid – all at no additional cost to you. 

Giving in Ichthus

Ichthus is a faith movement.  That means we trust God totally to supply for the needs of His work.  Please join us in praying that we will always hear His voice and pour our time, money, energy and prayer into those things that bear fruit for eternity.  Then, thank Him that He will supply for all our needs, according to His riches in Christ Jesus!

We encourage all followers of Jesus to commit their time, talents and treasure to the Lord. We would love you to be a part of the journey with us and if you are a part of our church family - to commit to regularly sow into our work prayerfully, financially and practically.

Principles of Giving

  1. God provides for us (John 3:16, Philippians 4:19)

  2. Give with a cheerful heart (2 Corinthians 9:7)

  3. Give generously (2 Corinthians 9:6)

  4. Give responsibly and regularly (1 Corinthians 16:2)

  5. Give in faith (Mark 12:41-44)

We encourage members of New Life where possible to set up standing orders for your tithing. It is right to give first to God (sometimes described as firstfruits). In Ichthus, our finances are a common pot so giving through the local church does much more than sustain the work of the local congregation it's changing lives and bringing people to Jesus Christ across the world. We tithe 10% to our overseas work and 25% goes to support the ministries of Ichthus Christian Fellowship enabling the Prayer Community, supporting Training and the development of the Ichthus movement. The other 65% is invested in the local church enabling our congregation work, community projects, evangelism, youth and children's work, maintaining and developing our building and more.
