Leadership
At Ichthus New Life we encourage those with leadership gifting to use their gifts within the body. We actively encourage each person to receive and exercise the spiritual gifts as listed in Romans 12, Ephesians 4 & 1 Corinthians 12.
Apostolic Leadership
New Life is part of Ichthus Christian Fellowship and as such recognises the apostolic leadership of Roger and Faith Forster, who began the movement in 1974.
Prayer Planning
At New Life we believe in servant leadership. We are led by Stephen McArdle and have a wider group called the Prayer Planning team who do what the name suggests – we pray and we plan! We meet every other week to discuss all aspects of church life.
As we are a growing church we are constantly looking to recognise peoples gifts and release people into new responsibilities within the church. The homegroup leaders and assistant meet with Stephen each month for encouragement, vision sharing, prayer, worship and prophecy.
Prayer Planning members are: Stephen McArdle, Marva Millwood, Jane Branagan, Paul Thomas and Tim Lings.
